he Shīʿah Institute fellowship presently comprises seventy one scholars working within a wide variety of disciplines, including anthropology, architecture, art, ethnomusicology, history, language, law, literature, philosophy, religion, and theology, at prestigious research institutions across the world, united by a shared interest in and commitment to the study of Shia Islam. The fellowship is an honorary appointment and its goal is to facilitate research associations and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration across subjects within the umbrella of Shia Studies. Members have unique access to the Institute’s specialist apparatus for research, association, and dissemination and have the opportunity to take part in editorial boards, research projects, symposia, and conferences organised by the Shīʿah Institute.
